Feigum Falls (Full Day)

After basic instruction from your guide, you will paddle five kilometers northeast along the craggy shore, past farms and boathouses, at the foot of the mountain Rivenosi and in view of Jostedal Glacier, mainland Europe’s largest.

You will beach your kayaks at the mouth of the Feigum River and hike for about twenty minutes through the Norwegian landscape to an idyllic lunch site near the base of the falls. If you are feeling especially adventurous, allow your guide to lead you to the top of the falls for the view of a lifetime before returning to your kayaks and paddling back to Vetle-Kroken.

Fjord Horse

Fjord & Mountains (4 Days)

Join us for what will truly be the trip of a lifetime! This trip is your chance to experience the fjord as the original inhabitants did: by sea and on foot in the mountains.

We will spend the first two days paddling from Vetle-Kroken down the wild, roadless length of the Lustrafjord. We will overnight at an abandoned fjord-side farmstead... The next two days will bring us along ancient shepherd’s paths up and over the 1300 meter high pass. We will be in the company of foxes, eagles, ptarmigan, and even the occasional reindeer.
